What Hisab Is

Hisab is a personal finance tracker that helps you record, organise, and understand your own financial data. By using Hisab you agree to these terms.

Hisab is not a financial adviser, a bank, a brokerage, or a regulated financial institution. We do not:

• Hold deposits or custody any of your money.
• Provide credit, loans, or any form of lending.
• Process payments or transfer funds on your behalf.
• Execute trades or manage investments.

Nothing in Hisab constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All financial decisions are yours alone, and you are solely responsible for them.

Your Account

Hisab uses Google Sign-In for authentication. By signing in you confirm that:

• You are creating one account for personal use — one person, one account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any session that uses it to access Hisab.
• You will not share your session or allow others to access your Hisab account.
• You will notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your Data, Your Ownership

Everything you enter into Hisab — transactions, accounts, budgets, goals, investments, and manual assets — belongs to you. We store it solely to provide the service.

• Export — you can download a CSV export of your data at any time from the Settings page.
• Account deletion — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at hisab@servolix.com.
• Permanent deletion — deletion is irreversible. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered.

We do not sell, share, or monetise your data. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

Accuracy Disclaimers

Hisab surfaces data from multiple sources. You should treat all figures as indicative, not authoritative:

• Stock prices — fetched from Yahoo Finance and may be delayed or indicative. They do not reflect real-time market prices and should not be used to make trading decisions.
• Bank statement parsing — PDF parsing is best-effort. Extracted transactions may contain errors, duplicates, or omissions. Always verify against your official bank statement.
• Gold and property values — any values shown are estimates based on inputs you provide, not formal appraisals or valuations.
• Exchange rates — rates are cached periodically and may not reflect the current interbank or retail rate at any given moment.

Nothing displayed in Hisab constitutes financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Acceptable Use

Hisab is provided for personal finance tracking. You agree not to:

• Use Hisab for any commercial, institutional, or third-party purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from Hisab using automated means.
• Abuse the service in a way that degrades availability for other users (e.g., excessive API requests).
• Attempt to access another user's account, data, or session.

Service Availability

Hisab is provided as-is, without any service level agreement (SLA). We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or response time.

• The service may experience planned or unplanned downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or infrastructure issues.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.
• We are not liable for any losses, missed insights, or financial decisions made during or as a result of service unavailability.

Limitation of Liability

Hisab is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on data shown in Hisab.
• We are not liable for errors in parsed, fetched, or user-provided data that result in inaccurate calculations or displays.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses of any kind arising from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of Hisab after an update is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or your use of Hisab shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karachi, Pakistan.
